Live and Bloom Installation

I am grateful to have opportunities to visit butterfly conservatory both in Canada and Malaysia. Everytime the butterflies put their wings together, seems like a flower blooming. Butterfly and flower do not live long, but we human beings have the abilities to keep blooming as long as one keeps their passion in life burning. Don't just live, but live and bloom. Woodburning gives a better contrast compared to ink and pen. The longer the tip burned on wood, the deeper and larger of the area become. I like how the edge of a dot is blur and soft rather than hard and rigid. The unpredictable burn on different parts of wood give a sense of natural organic to the artwork.
