This is about the lost my mother. The streams of memory that grief brings. This could only be envisaged this as 'space', heat, surge, smell, weight, family, mental torture, regret, loss, and love. My mother did not have conversations with me and it was a struggle to get her to talk. Yet I have many warm memories of her as a child. The installation has movable pieces.
