Jessica was born and raised in Northeast Florida, and lives there currently with her husband and 2 dogs. Her grandparents founded the Mandarin Art Festival in 1968 to showcase local artists in their community. She is influenced by a wide variety of art forms. Jessica is also an amateur photographer and seasoned traveler. She draws inspiration for many of her pieces from various locations around the US and at home. She chose quilling, a style of paper sculpting made popular during the Renaissance. It was considered an acceptable past time for "gentle ladies". Quilling is a way to express her love of history and herself artistically. In November of 2023, her piece “Cedar Key” won Honorable Mention at the Saint Augustine Art Association’s juried exhibit “Fantastic Florida”.
