Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day Our Daily Bread
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

The title of the project uses a quote from the prayer "Our Father", in which Christians around the world turn to God with a plea for help.
The project is an installation of five objects* in the form of a loaf of bread. One object is a real loaf of bread, which undergoes qualitative changes during the exposure – becomes stale, moldy, cracked and, eventually, crumbles. Four other objects are made of transparent material, have a banknote of the US bank inside, and stay unchangeable.
The project "Our Daily Bread ..." is an author's statement about the problems of human existence in the modern consumer society, human aspirations and reassessment of life values.

* A reference to the New Testament parable "Miracle of the multiplication of the loaves", where Jesus created a miracle, feeding 5,000 people with the five loaves.

Sculpture: US Bank banknote, rezin and plactic, limited edition of 12.
