Of course, these can be hung in any configuration you like. My Wall of Color wall sculpture series harkens back to my love of look of big, bold fields of color against a white wall. I created a way to incorporate them into a 3d wall sculpture. Each of these pieces is a layered abstract landscape painted on a wood panel. The sides of the panels are black. Modern Custom Wall Art Sculpture, Installation, 38" x 38" x 1.5": Add “wow” factor to your interior with colorful 3D wall sculpture. Whether you are shopping for you home, office or corporate lobby, this large, super colorful wall sculpture will be an uplifting element in your space. I call it my Wall of Color series. This colorful wall sculptures consists of nine individual 10” x 10” x 1.5” high quality wood panels. Each panels is painted with a bright mini monochromatic abstract landscapes, in layers of paint, hand painted by me. A durable UV varnish finish is added to protect them. The black painted sides act as a contrast between the wall and the color. It really does make those colors pop. But you can choose to have natural wood sides that are varnished. The wood sides add a warmth to the art. PLEASE NOTE: This is a made to order item. When you order it, I will make it. Time from order to shipping is approximately two weeks if I have no orders I am working on. CUSTOMIZE My panel sets can be customized in panel size and number. I have standard sizes, but can also make custom sizes, and they all do not have to be the same size. A Few Points to Keep in Mind As you know, these are hand painted pieces so no two pieces will be exactly same. I use the images pictured here as inspiration only for brushstrokes. The brush strokes in the piece I make for you will not match exactly to the brush strokes in the item images. That said, clients have always loved what I make for them. Also, we all have to deal with the variations of color on our computer monitors, tablet and smart phone screens. Hi! I am Paula Gibbs, an abstract artist living in Tucson, AZ. It took a near-death experience in 2012 to turn me into an artist. It was my first day home after winning a battle with advanced stage pneumonia, one which most people lose. That day I had what I suppose was an epiphany. Suddenly art had to be in my life. It is quite odd because not for one second had I ever considered being an artist. Why would I? Art was something for people with creative talent and the skill to bring ideas into the physical world. That certainly did not describe me. Having no art education, my recovery was spent researching, and later I experimented with many mediums. For the last few years I settled on working with metal, aluminum actually. I created my own unique style of lightly distressing sheet metal, painting it and mounting to wood panels. What I refer to as my metal art is distressed (sometimes not) and painted aluminum mounted on wood panels. The style is truly unique. I am fairly certain you won’t find anything like it. Even my simpler pieces involve a long (to me anyway) process of creating a design, measuring, cutting, sanding, and usually distressing the metal. Then, I paint it, usually with enamel, and more sanding. I sand by hand because that is the only way to achieve the look I want. In an effort to work on a medium that is “softer” (and without edges sharp as razor blades) and less physical, I have turned my attention to painting on canvas, and on wood panels as multi-piece large installations/wall sculptures. My canvas painting is still in exploration mode. My colorful wall sculptures, which I termed Wall of Color, are completely customizable in size, color, overall layout. For some reason each individual bright glossy panel reminds me of Chiclets.
