ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork is an assemblage of everyday objects.The title is a pun on the classic joke. The metal pieces are positioned over the indentations of the box creating movement. "Two Men Walk Into A Box" is influenced by three dimentional pieces by Picasso. The process of creating the piece involves numerous trial and error positionings until the items "fall" into harmony. Viewers will look twice to appreciate the humor and see that the figures are mounted on the back of an artist's canvas.
