Silvery metallic mesh fabric is the support layer for an intriguing swath of textural rust. Painted with iron paint then treated to simulate rust and decay-- play of delicate and bold voices. The canvas beneath is painted with metallic nickel toned silver paint. These metallic and neutral tones would complement any colour scheme. It is a bold yet reserved statement piece. This could hang as a horizontal or a vertical, and it comes to you wired on the back for either. Frame is a beautiful satin black wooden frame. Lisa Bolin was raised on the western edge of Missouri in a small town drugstore. (And, yes, it did have a soda fountain.) Missouri is filled with honest and hard-working people, and Lisa adopted that strong work ethic which continues to propel her achievements to this day. A life-long journey as an artist has taken Lisa down many career paths: jewelry-making, graphic design, the realm of commercial photography, sculpting and painting. For the past two decades, Lisa has worked freelance as a set stylist or food stylist on high-profile food photography projects and TV commercials. In her spare time, she enjoys petting puppies and growing vegetables. Lisa Bolin’s paintings are in collections across the globe.
