Inspired by fiber artists and fiber sculptors this series aims to incorporate everyday object such as dish-racks under the embroidery, forming a sort of loom or axis over which the threads weave over and under. I've worked with textiles in abstract and figurative pieces.

Marroquin received a B.F.A. in Textile and Surface Design during which time he attended a semester at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI, les Ateliers) in Paris, concentrating on weaving, through a student exchange program.
