The artist initially introduced depth through architectural perspectives and then distorted it and morphed it into the fragmented female figure to fully express the somewhat spiritual air. Abol Bahadori is a prizewinning mixed-media artist based in the United States. He was born in Tabriz, the capital of Iranian Azerbaijan. As a child, he was inspired by the colorful carpets in his home. He won the "Best Young Artist" prize in the local schools at age nine. He studied art in his hometown and later in Manchester, England. Bahadori has been frequently selected by the Washington Project for Arts and The Art League, Alexandria, VA, for annual art auctions and solo shows with many best-in-show awards. He has actively shown his work in various prominent galleries in the U.S., U.K. and France.
