Bako Artwork

The work is created on a traditional Mexican loom in Oaxaca. It's woven by using a local wool yarn dyed with natural materials such as local flowers, fruits, and wood. It's colours and shapes refer to machinery, architecture, sigils, and logos. The natural materials and hand-woven quality are a contrast to the more graphic silhouettes and abstract meaning of the piece. This work is ready to hang and has been stretched onto a wooden frame (not visible). Please contact me if you prefer a wooden frame that is visible (various types of wood and colours available). The artwork ships in a secure cardboard box NOT a wooden crate.
