ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Another of my laser cut shapes, like knots or a ribbon turning around and around. The illusion of something going behind another is what I aimed for in this artwork and I think it worked. The hole in the middle is filled with epoxy rain with a light caramel color to add some warmth. Underneath I have in the best aboriginal style made a lot of dots, controlled to give depth in the design. Note that the measurement can never be accurate with a no square piece. Signed on the back

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
