Isabel Brinck was born in Chile (1965) in a family touched by art in her father's side. She graduated with honors in Graphic Design from the Universidad de Chile and worked in this field for many years. She has taught art for children and has had a strong influence in children's creative art expressions. She paints professionally since 1999. Her knowledge of Graphic Design has been the foundation of her serious and constant work thus achieving compositions with a perfect balance between form, color and space. She lives and works in Miami since 2003 She worked for 12 years under the direction of Chilean artist, Jaime Ferrer. She has her studio close to the art district in the sunny city and she is very active in the art community , constantly doing projects, exhibits, art fair and shows. Isabel has showed her work throughout US and Latin America. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and her work is part of private collections around the globe. She was selected to participate numerous top Art Fairs across the world like PINTA MIAMI, AQUA MIAMI, PARC LIMA, CHACO SANTIAGO, ART MARBELLA, ART PALM BEACH, among others . From her inside, Isabel Brinck shows us through her work, a world full of fantasy where her dreams and characters appeal to the innocence in her childhood. She goes deep into her feelings to reunite with the freedom of being a kid once again. “My art is a combination of figurative and abstract styles. It is a challenge to paint exactly “as I am” and play with the depths of emotions, perceptions, feelings and personal experiences as a way of letting it all out from the inside. While I paint, I awaken the innocence of my childhood and submerge myself in the freedom that allows me to be a young girl once again and break free from the complexity of the adult world for a moment. I like to paint to leave a print, a testimony of "being alive". Isabel possesses a strongly personal work with a dreamlike influence and childish reminiscences. In her paintings, Brinck creates dreamlike scenes and a world of unusual characters that despite their drama and deformity, show tenderness and kindness. With a defined style and language, her painting is fluid, fresh and harmonious as a whole. Featured in Voyage Miami: Featured in Luxe d Magazine: #.XoH2vy3MwnV
