ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The design of the artwork is loosely inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence, a mathematical sequence found on different elements of nature, particularly in the arrangement of leaves, branches, flowers or seeds in plants. If you take a close look at the center of a sunflower or daisy, you’ll find it. This pattern, and progression is a reminder of the infinite growth that exists in nature and in life.

Jessie Laura is a Peruvian mixed media artist and art director based in San Francisco. Influenced by nature, her mixed media work features geometric and organic compositions that create depth, texture, and movement. Furthermore, abstraction through form, light, and shadow allows her to respond to and engage with contemporary culture’s onslaught of visual imagery. Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Film. Working primarily with wood and paper, her latest work navigates the complexities of light and form as artistic medium, physical reality, and aesthetic concept. Using clarity and simplicity as her visual language, Jessie strives to generate the maximum effect on the viewer with minimal media.
