Zsolt Malasits was born in Győr in 1961. He lives and works in the same town. He has been long ago concerned by the human relations, the relation to God and the humans, things in life, love, affection, the way seeking of man in the created world. These are the main themes of his works. In his pictures the fish symbol appears regurarly which symbolizes the methamorphosis and the intangibility of things. The warm world of colours, the forms symbolize the longing for a pure life. He does not want to offer only a visual experience but to awake the thoughts too. His inner life is caracterized by a basic duality:the good and the bad, egoism and devotion which are struggling in his creator soul. His main aim is to look for and to find the “Essence”. His hands are guided many times by the divine providence and inspiration which is much stronger and pure than the limited conceptions of the earthly ego. His art is basically caracterized by the spirituality and sacrality, the presentation of the traditions of our saint kings. In 2017 he paints the Saint-Laszlo icon – with several technics- of which one is put on permanent exhibition at the Hungarian Consulate in Krakow as Saint Laszlo was born in Krakow. Since 1993 he takes an active part in the cultural life of Győr. His name marks numerous unique and group exhibitions, cultural and charity programmes. In 2017 he composes a giant painting of 16 pieces of 80x103cm canvas. Later this is put on a bid by pieces and he offers its income for charity purposes. The fame of the town Győr was also highlighted by several exhibitions and artistic festivals organized abroad. For example in 2016 in France where he wins two golden graduations at two different international exhibitions and one in Poland during the Polish-Hungarian days organized in Poland. In favour of his personal spiritual peace his success is put in favour of the humanity by emphesizing the importance of the family and it is only the next generation who decides where to put the result.
