Ships in a Box
Here I present Charon, the boatman, Inspired by Divina Commedia of Dante Alighieri, Canto III. Charon is the ferryman of the dead who appears as an anthropomorphic boat with a giant ship for a body. His sworn duty is to ferry the souls of the condemned across the infernal River Acheron, to Limbo beyond. Made using fine hatching with ink pen, and hints of graphite pencil for the body of Charon. The paper used is handmade Italian Fabriano, high GSM-800.
