About The Artwork

I create works that provoke open-ended conversations concerning perceptions of form, alliances, beauty and communication. Through this open ended hybrid practice I accomplish the task of challenging the relationship between the viewers perceptual parameters with a multilayered aesthetic experience. These works contain underlying themes which stimulate the viewer’s psyche on both a subconscious and a conscious level. My biomorphic sculptures reject conventional classifications by blurring the lines between sculpture, painting, architecture and installation. These works adhere to various idealisms confronting alliances, color and newly realized forms using significant parings and their attraction and discordance to illustrate concepts. While Post Minimalism and Conceptualism were a starting point, these works differ. To ensure invention, I reference the unconscious mind and a form of Cage’s Chance Operations. I perform a meditation that clears my mind of prior influences then create from a first notion in search of unrealized forms or uncommon pairings. I refer to this process as Unconscious Geometry. This work comes with a paper template for positioning and mounting with ease.
