ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is dedicated to coral which constantly tries to regrow the eco-system. I have a Fungi series that I have been working on since 2021 trying to emphasize the importance of fungi/mushrooms in the eco system as well as their importance in healing all living things including humans. I am also fascinated by their shapes, patterns, colors, and capabilities. The series is also evolving towards creatures that live under the sea that also saves the eco-system. Every single circle was made by swirling a piece of fiber. It is a three dimensional painting. Every singe swirly was fixed with varnish.There is a backing frame to the painting.
