Electra - Limited Edition of 1 Artwork

This one of a kind painting was enlarged as an abstract shape to take on mysterious, unnatural forms. It was then painted without physical tools, but using only my finger. During multiple processes, the files were enlarged and printed on canvas or on high definition metal. Rather than traditional direct print onto a substrate, this unique image has been infused beneath the surface of a sheet of metal using archival dyes and a custom heat press. It’s an amazing process that produces an incredibly vibrant, highly detailed image and is archival and can’t be scratched or peeled off. Expressing myself through many mediums from painting, photography, to digital media, I have now taken on the Apple iPad with my latest series, ‘iPaint on my iPad’, where I produce technological visions, pioneering with the iPad and have held exhibitions across a myriad amounts of Apple Stores around the World: Santa Monica, California, Lincoln Center, New York, Aventura Mall, Miami, and IFC apple store in Hong Kong. The iPad series has been exhibited at the Art Basel in Hong Kong, the California Heritage Museum, Rosenthal Fine Arts in Chicago, and the Mayson Gallery in New York. Known for my installation art, and collages made by combining paint and photographs the evolution of technology has always paralleled my work throughout its development. From the original copy machine to today’s iPad, the influence of electronics permeates my process. Though I have experimented with painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, I have seen a transformation in my art through the digital age.
