About The Artwork
In my studio, I laser cut my work. This piece is two shapes combined and added some yarn in the middle. The yarn is a bit glossy and again added a bit of resin, to be sure it stays at place. The swirl is a shape I keep going back to. I really love that you can trick the eye to think the shapes are between each other. The yarn is a product I wanted to use for a long time and finally managed to use. It is a artwork that makes me very happy to watch. Very cheerful.

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
