This artwork is part of the "Everyday Yay" Collection, celebrating our everyday wins, however small. By bringing our attention to the daily things that go well, we root ourselves in, and condition our mindset towards gratitude. Visually, these 3D artworks are inspired by festive party decor, from confetti to fringed tinsel and curled ribbon, and protrude off the canvas, housed in 3" deep shadow box frames.

Julie Pelaez combines her conceptual Advertising background with a variety of mixed media to create feel-good abstract artworks centered on themes of human connection and empowerment. Her practice includes exhibitions, commissions, wallpaper design, corporate installations with Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, United Heritage Credit Union, and Kendra Scott, as well as print collaborations with national retailers such as Wexel Art, Four Hands Art Studio, Perigold and HomeGoods. She spent a decade as an Advertising Art Director in her first career, followed by a break for motherhood before becoming a full-time artist in 2017. Julie passionately soaks up life and squeezes out color from her home studio in Austin where she lives with her husband and 2 sons.
