"Forever Young" delves into the paradox of eternal youth and the escape we seek to delay the inevitable passage of time. The piece features a man sitting at a table, with a substance that hints at themes of addiction and the pursuit of permanence. The work captures a poignant moment of longing and fragility, questioning the ways we try to hold onto youth through external means. Inspired by the internal struggle between the desire to remain forever young and the realities of aging, this artwork reflects the tension between idealism and consequence. The central figure embodies the quest for everlasting happiness and the challenges we face in achieving it. This piece invites viewers to reflect on the fleeting nature of youth and the inevitable march of time. It encourages contemplation of how our choices and desires shape our understanding of life and time. The modern style of "Forever Young" highlights the emotional tension and ambiguity of the theme. The depicted substance on the table serves as a powerful metaphor for the quest for immortality and the costs associated with it. With a striking color palette and dynamic techniques, the artwork draws viewers in, offering a deep and engaging visual narrative.

Horekb (Tenerife, 30.06.82) is an artist and doctor of Philosophy who has lived in Berlin since 2008. Driven by Nietzsche's thought, he moved to the German capital to write his doctoral thesis, "The Game in Nietzsche's Tragedy." However, upon presenting his thesis in 2016, he decided to distance himself from academic philosophy to seek new horizons. It is precisely with the abandonment of academic philosophy and the birth of his daughter Luisa that he found in art a means of expression that provided a space for play, experimentation, and freedom: "Together, we found in watercolors, crayons, and colored pencils a medium of expression and communication where she was the teacher and I was the student." Thus, in 2017, the Horekb project was born, blending styles that prominently feature watercolors and digital art, sometimes born from effort and other times from chance.
