Geometry in Motion II Artwork

The art that I create is abstraction because it allows me freedom in creation. I get to determine how everything comes together. Sometimes it resembles something in the real world while other times it is pure abstraction. This piece falls into the category of pure abstraction. The canvas leads me in what I will create. I love the mystery of not knowing when I start as to how it will proceed and turn out. Another element that intrigues me is precision and design. What drives me is how I can create the illusion of depth in my work on a two dimensional canvas. It forces me to think outside of the box to get it to the finish line. Color also plays an important part in the direction the piece will take me. Sometimes a subtle color works while at other times the more brilliant the color is the more vibrant it makes the piece. What is so special about this piece is that it can be rotated in four different directions to present itself as a new piece; a 4 in 1 work of art. It is not framed because I leave that up to the buyer as to which way they want to see it, thereby my signature is on the reverse side.
