ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hallow is a work from my Serenity series, where I experimented with ink play and movement of form, presented on rag paper - influenced by the ideas of biomorphism and natural form adaption. This particular piece had an heavier presentation of marks and transition which gave an edge of eeriness due to its anonymity, yet there is a presence of some being, possibly sacred. Some viewers feels as if the marks evolve into a dragon. This informed the title Hallow. The choice of rag paper was used due to its delicate nature.
