ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For a long time I have hand cut my mdf paintings, but now a studio started in my city and I can now use a laser cutter and soon a CNC router. The shape is first drawn by hand, then I Adobe Illustrator in vectors and then cut by the laser machine, Painted, marbled and then added some epoxy resin to finish it off with a nice glossy effect, which changes when you move around the piece. Part of my series "constructed squiggles" Note that the size varies after how I measure it, so it can't be all accurate.

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
