This man's hand on the woman's hip, this woman's arm which wraps around the man's neck ... how can we not think of Rodin's "Kiss", even if the two works are in very different? "The Kiss" presented here is a double nude lying down and not seated as with the sculptor. In its warm colors, with notably the presence of the parquet floor at the bottom left, the atmosphere evoked is rather that of the "Planers" of Caillebotte. The couple, the kiss, eternal themes ... This work is made in mixed technique on canvas and combines photography, digital composition and acrylic painting (glaze and raised squares). It is a unique piece. It is framed in black wood (total dimensions: approximately 66 x 86 x 3,5 cm)

« In the age of digital technologies, I couldn't just be a painter or a photographer. My 'paintographies' bring down borders between techniques and offer a resolutely contemporary hybrid art. » I was born in 1975 in a small town in the French countryside and arrived in Paris in 1992 for my studies (History, English and literature). I have been a professional artist since 2007, with over 80 exhibitions across France and Europe. My artistic approach is both simple and complex. Although my work portrays a figurative aesthetic that favors clarity, it does so through a complex blending of photography, digital art, and acrylic painting. The result is a mixed technique I call ‘paintography’. My compositions highlight the fragility of the human body. I transform my model into virtual sculptures by replacing their skin with mineral materials to represent the passage of time.
