Sometimes I take the window view of my place, a sheet of paper and my painting gear and start creating as an end in itself. Sometimes it's like painting nothing at all—calming as the resulting work presented here.

The work is done on slightly yellowing paper from my roots in East Germany. It comes with a passe-partout imperfectly cut by the author himself. For best effects I recommend glass-covered presentation.

As honest as possible, with all wits and senses, towards a surprising imagery off the beaten tracks. German artist and musician Christian Kabuß studied Medicine before he went on to Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design Budapest. The artistic language within his paintings is linked to a phenomenological approach to bodiliness, the freedom of the subconscious, and the theoretical and practical considerations of Design. Kabuß has exhibited in Germany and abroad. His works are present in regional, national and international collections. Like his art, his music is freely played and portrays a sense of a parallel-world.
