This work began as a physical painted study: loose acrylic brushstrokes on paper, built around colour, gesture, and the suggestion of a body in movement. From that first handmade image, I continued the composition digitally, using Photoshop to construct the figure, line, structure, layering, and fin...

I am a visual artist born in Paraguay and raised between Uruguay and Brazil. With limited access to traditional art materials, I began creating images with what I had available: a computer and a mouse. What started as a necessity slowly became my main artistic tool and a fundamental part of my visual language. For many years, digital media allowed me to explore what I could not always access physically. Through Photoshop, I learned to recreate the textures, palettes, and sensations often associated with tangible materials such as paint, fabric, paper, moss, leaves, and aged surfaces. This relationship between limitation and invention continues to shape my work. My palette is deeply influenced by nature, especially greens, ochres, earthy tones, and organic textures. I am drawn to visual elements that contain a certain ambiguity: forms that are not conventionally beautiful, yet remain aesthetically compelling. I often search for a deliberate kind of “ugliness” — something imperfect, raw, or unsettling that gives character and tension to an image. The human figure is central to my work, often combined with elements of fashion, fabric, and styling. I am interested in how clothing, texture, posture, and expression can transform the body into something emotional, symbolic, and strange. My pieces exist between illustration, painting, and digital collage, merging contemporary digital processes with the atmosphere of traditional media. My influences include the textures of leaves, moss, old textiles, and worn surfaces, as well as artists such Pedro Figari, and Petrona Viera. Through my work, I explore introspection, solitude, identity, and the quiet tension between beauty and discomfort.
