Macklemore - Limited Edition of 1 Artwork

Chilean-Ecuadorian Visual Artist currently living in New York City. While living in Santiago, Chile, I began my career as a professional photographer working in portrait, architectural design, landscape and the Queer cultural landscape. The subjects of my work vary as my interest and my eye are inspired by the uniquely urban environment of living in New York during this fascinating and challenging times. I have a great love and respect for the process of creating my work and oversee all aspects of the creation and execution of it. I started creating digital paintings as a response to a compulsive need to exteriorize my brain experience. I use the visual world as a language to communicate and in order to do so, I explored different mediums of art creation, from photography to oil paint, and in this journey I discovered that the digital canvas offers me a set of tools that no other medium would. The digital canvas allows me to paint without the physical restrictions a traditional canvas would have, but providing the same exploratory visual experience. It also allows me to go back and forth in my creation, experimenting with new brushes and colors without the fear of ruining the finished piece. The digital canvas gives me the freedom I was looking for to create and set the right foundation to let my creativity flow. I am very excited to share my vision through it. I am currently working in an abstract fashion and as a result of this, my works can be very unpredictable and at the same time very visually satisfying. My portfolio varies from the exploration of my anger management needs (Macklemore and Zullo) to a more socially conscious visual expression like BLM. It can also respond to a more benevolent and peaceful state of mind like Alice or to a more sophisticated aspiration with a deep soulful feeling of nostalgia like Midnight Blues. In summary, Moods is a work of emotional translation into a visually rich digital language made in a context of international consternation and transverse social challenges.
