Video performance with the traditional nursery rhyme “Arroz con leche”. It is part of the folklore of the Iberian Peninsula all Latin America. Probably of French origin, from the 14th century. This is the decomposition of the piece PAL for which 310 little chalk sculptures were made in memory of the victims of the serial killer Pedro Alonzo Lopez. My interest is to investigate, and question the system and devices used to naturalize the violence against the female gender. Foreplay is an exploration of the cultural products that replicate and maintain Patriarchy social roles. The female identity is shaped prematurely with games and songs. We are expected to enjoy, and learn how to be a woman.
