Liya Dore began her artistic journey with ceramic painting, a decade-long experience that shaped her attention to detail and technical precision. Subsequently, her research shifted to painting on canvas and MDF panels, seeking greater expressive freedom through the use of mixed techniques. Liya Dore's artistic practice is characterized by the integration of diverse materials such as acrylics, resins, crystals, and metal leaves, which give her works a sculptural and three-dimensional nature. Her works, which range from floral subjects to still lifes, explore the contrast between matter and light, creating surfaces that change appearance depending on the ambient lighting. A recurring element in her work is the Tree of Life, a symbol the artist uses to represent family roots and the connection between the material and spiritual dimensions. This theme reflects the desire to transform inner energy into visible forms, proposing a vision of art as a profound connection between heaven and earth. This sketch highlights his technical evolution, starting from ceramics up to the expert use of resin and crystals.
