ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Each piece I make is created on upcycled fabric that I hand-dye, sew together and paint. My process consists of layering different colors, textures, materials and mediums. The geometric elements are defined by precision, while the ink drips and abstract bush strokes are loose and gestural. Together they work to create depth and evoke a sense of balanced dualism. This piece is light and airy. With red holographic foil that changes color with the viewing angle against light blue fabric and light lavender brush strokes.
