ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is piece that kicked off this entire series of work on Terraform - it began by noticing the similarities between certain rock formations and the skin of an elephant. Easily one of my favourite images that I’ve ever made, there’s a reason that Ourea is at the top of my website and hanging in my home. The image is a photographic manipulation of images I shot in the Alps around Geneva a few years back. The reference image that it is based on is a snap of Yindee the Elephant in the Amsterdam Zoo. Please note that a smaller edition of 57x80cm is also available.
