"Persian Calligraphy - Limited Edition of 1" Artwork

An Afghan artist in exile. At times, I gather fragments of songs and reshape them into poems, so they may be seen, heard, and felt all at once — through the language of music and the quiet intimacy of calligraphy. My artworks are, perhaps, orphaned things. I bring them into the world only to let them go, leaving them behind for others to interpret, inhabit, and give new meaning to in their own way. With every passing day, my devotion to writing deepens, as does my fascination with creating new textures through the movement of pen and ink across paper. It is a journey of emotion, memory, and motion, and I am grateful to share it here.
