I am an artist from Serbia. In my creative work, I focus on analyzing the historical, cultural, social, and psychological aspects of the motifs that are presented on paintings. I aim to successfully convey my emotions and personal experience of a given motif, while also allowing the viewer to form their own interpretation and discover a personal symbolic meaning. In terms of the artistic techniques I use, I have developed two styles: The first style is characterized by the use of different materials on canvas. I depict portraits, architecture, and landscapes through layered construction using various materials such as sand, acrylic putty, metal, wood, newspaper, textile materials and others in order to make the composition visually powerful and rich in symbolism. The materials used in each painting are carefully chosen and play a specific role in the composition, aligned with the intended purpose. The second style is working in the traditional technique of oil on canvas. These works representing a combination of realism and expressionism. A great influence on my work comes from Neo-Expressionism, due to its emphasis on conveying strong emotional experiences and the free, expressive use of various materials in accordance with the motif.
