Hi! Where to begin? I started drawing when I was a kid, and it developed and grew over the years. Raised in Northern California by my hippie and absent dad and my loving English mum, with encouragement, my stick drawings turned into horses with hair and feet, transformed into buildings with sidewalks, people and cars. I applied to an Art College in London after high school but changed my mind, afraid of not being able to afford school abroad I went to College in the USA, just down the street from my house. I became a nurse and found my calling was to care for people. Soon I suffered from the pressures of over stretching my compassions and started to draw again. It felt good to create. It felt good to dream. The drawing turned into painting and the painting soon became my obsession. The color wheel was referenced, the paint brushes were updated, and a small spray gun was purchased. I was back into it, and it felt good. Colors jumped off the canvas, textures developed, shiny surfaces became my favorite. I paint to have therapy, I express myself on canvas, trying to capture that feeling of freedom I had as a kid. Building a sandcastle with color. Creating that play with all my friends, ready to sing the song and dance the dance, being a kid in my mind. Opening up the creativity I boxed up for so long. Now I paint. Please enjoy.
