Although the journey of modernism began for the purpose of enlightenment, but it has become a big question whether we have really lightened at this time. It seems to me that the problems of modernity, imperialism, capitalism and many other problems have created a kind of globalization that has made the present day unstable. In this work I tried to use that kind of the mediums, elements, and process that are relevant to my concept. So, I wanted to address the issues related to modernity, capitalism, imperialism in my artwork. In a sense I wanted to critique or rethink modernity, capitalism and imperialism from the context of present time and somewhat postmodern perspective. I have used a machine and tires to address the modernism here, because there is one kind of small connection between machines and wheels. Again, I have used Bruno Latur's book "we have never been modern" as a reference in the sense of criticizing modernism, whether the book denies our modernity in criticizing modernism. And, to address capitalism, I have used ready-made industrial products with which capitalism has a relationship. Again, I have used Karl Marx's book "Das Kapital" as a critique of capitalism in the sense of criticizing capitalism. And on the basis of all this, I have used burnt bloody bandages charcoal to metaphorically symbolize the various victims of this period who are oppressed in different ways. Overall, I have tried to express my present perception in various ways through various activities and treatments considering the relevance of everything.
