Mixed media art using paper, foil, glue, modeling pasta, acrylic paints (traditional, iridescent, metallic golden) on cardboard. I layered paper, acrylic paints, modeling pasta....the painting is a multiple layer of paper and paint. Each "layer" was done separately. First, adding any texture to the prepped surface. After that dries I added a base layer. This painting took a lot of patience to make. After everything was assembled another coat of paint went on top, a good look over for anything that might be missed. Then I added the accent metallic colors on top. The final step was to seal it all with a clear top coat (varnish) to protect from wear. TITLE: "Spring Glow" QUALITY: 100% Hand Made and Painted, Created in my home studio. Signed on front and back. TECHNIQUE: Mixed Media Acrylic painting on cardboard panel, Original hand painted. Finished with a gloss varnish for protection.
