I made the series STORM in 2021, inspired by the memory of snow storms, grainy vision, and dark moody winter landscapes. The work is hand-dyed and hand-painted onto the warp of the canvas before weaving, creating this vertical stripe effect. Textured yarn adds a softness to the surface, making it so much more than a painting, providing a gentile addition to your space.
