“Surreal to Conceptual Photos, Distorted, Triptych: St. Petersburg, NYC, London” - Limited Edition of 12 Artwork

I gave my subconscious a camera, and promised not to interfere. I got back to the studio, and my subconscious took over there, too. A contiguous horizontal row of three framed 26" x 40" color digital conceptual distortions of 35mm analog photographs from ongoing Surreal Photos project, placed variously on negative space, giving a floating, eerie, dreamlike feeling. Vertically framed, individual four-sided, predominantly straight-edged, distorted Surreal Photos are located somewhere within a large white or black background, giving the sense that the image is slicing into or moving through a curious, twisted negative space. Often exhibited in an installation of contiguous groupings, which feels like a dream-planetarium. Suite of 24 panels, available separately on black or white background. Variable dimensions and custom configurations. Installations have been exhibited at eMediaLoft. org and Mitchell Algus Gallery in New York. Suggested groupings are on this website, but feel free to mix and match any of the panels, or purchase as singles (see other images for each offered separately).
