Marc Johnson, was born in France in 1986. He was introduced into Arts in an early stage. Fascinated by the Louvre Museum and particularly by the egyptian section. He started courses in Art History in college at Maximilien Vox, rue Madame in Paris and pursue the quest of knowledge with gluttony ever since. After 10 years of Martial Art practices and swimming at an athele pace, Marc travelled in Japan, Russia, United States and Europe for the discovery of cultural differences and learnings insights. He founded different Cultural Non-profit Organisation with friends and encounters in search of genuine ways of collaborative multi-disciplinary projects. Marc's field of actions spreads out in the scope of Architecture, visual Art, ballet, Science, new media, technology, fashion, curating and publishing. The core of his gesture position cross-over japanese philosophy, mathematics, science fiction, literatures, and Art history. His research effort focuses on the basic structures of cultures, societies, tribes, individuals, cells and organisms at the compass of the cosmos. Marc is seeking for common factors and vectors of changes in the history of forms and contents outside the threshold of the obsolescence of a Eurocentric notion of life and from the alienated cleavage between East and West define by the Capital as well as the paradoxical emergence of practices related to that same notion in the world at large today. Meanwhile, back in 2009, when he was awarded by the LVMH Young Artist Award, Marc has been acknowledge for his researchs and contemporary approaches. Then the Clermont-Tonnerre Foundation have rewarded him for his accomplishment at Beaux Arts school. Following that he won the National Youth Program from the French government for a collaborative project in Japan where he studied for five months with four others friends. Fondation Ricard in 2009, Hunter College of Art New York in 2010 and Valerie Bach gallery in Brussels in 2011, Marc is pursuing his epic mission across discipline and now, has deciding to synthesising his learnings into an Opera : ATLAS. Site Specific, Monumental and Ballet will happen on November 10th 2011 in Paris. Pianist, composer and dancers will risen in an effortless flight and forming has they are moving a rising spiral toward the sperical vault of the heavenly Cour Vitrée.
