About The Artwork
After reading Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's fairy tale "The beautiful lily and the green snake" I was transported into a world of fairies, elfins, spirits, dancing lights and rainbow colors. I started to sketch and paint the series "The Fairy's Garden" on heavy archival paper with inks, acrylic colors, oil crayons, pencils; at times not using the brush but my fingers to paint like a child at play. A lot of fun to do this work.
