The Geometry of Nature project, week #12, 03-20, 2017. After a study of the crystal structure and compression of a ruby. The ghost of de Chirico inspired it. One of the hardest minerals in nature, that’s where ruby and sapphire come from. Its hexagonal geometry makes for a simple well-balanced structure.
