Lesia Larionova was born in the city of Starokostyantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region, Ukraine. I grew up in a creative environment, so I have been engaged in fine arts since childhood. I studied at an art school. And after graduating from school, I entered the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, and since then, I have been living in Lviv. My specialty was book illustration and easel graphics. By that time, I had already developed my own style and love for allegory in art. After graduating from student life, I had a difficult period in my career. I worked freelance, had various professional experiences. But despite everything, I did not stop drawing. That's why I decided that maybe what makes me happy can make someone else happy by decorating the interior with something unique. My art is a way to show our integrity with nature and the environment. Small elements, details, textures that create form in my art are an interpretation of atoms and molecules that create matter in real life. My idea is that just as many elements make us (people) up, so we are an element of something bigger. Such thoughts make you feel unity with nature and harmony. And animals, in my opinion, are the best example of harmonious coexistence with the environment. They evoke in us not only empathy, but also admiration for this incredible world that nature has created. I work in techniques - watercolor, ink/pen, pencils, liners. Just as these techniques allow me to delve into detail, create various textures. The combination of fine detail with watercolor blur allows me to create works that simultaneously have clarity of form and depth for philosophical reflections.
