SHIPPING AND RETURNS

I am heavily inspired by the music of the psychedelic era and I was listening to it while I started sketching this little guy. This toad has hopped back into the 1960's and bathed himself in the colorful era of love and peace. He emerges in a rainbow of elated emotions.

My name is Deborah Camp and I am a professional freelance artist. I specialize in a medley of mediums including illustrations and painting murals for a variety of clients. To me, the definition of a successful artist is one who not only can create physical manifestations of their ideas, but one who has a positive, lasting and rippling impact on society. From youth onward I was magnetically drawn to becoming an artist. Art flows like crimson paint in my veins. My passion for art derives from my great-grandfather Aronne who emigrated from Italy to America in 1951 in search of a better life for my family. He loved to paint the landscapes of his motherland and horses. It delighted him to watch me doodle as a toddler. When he was beaming with happiness, I felt a sense of pride and ever since the moment I first picked up a crayon, art became a part of my identity. I was determined that art will be my life path and followed it throughout my schooling. My business philosophy is that my client’s needs are not only met but are always to be exceeded beyond their expectations. I value clear and open lines of communication with my client. After a discussion of ideas with the client, I will meticulously map out drafts of the art project on paper to ensure that my client knows exactly what they will be receiving. I always customize my work and tailor it to match the inner vision that my client has for their art project. My experience working with the public both as an art teacher and sales associate has enlightened me to become attune to each individual's needs. By working with my students I've had the pleasure of seeing the perspective of the world through a child's eyes and I was inspired by them to breathe life into my work with my paintbrush as the ideas flowed through my mind. The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is to be able to bring joy into people’s hearts through my art. Two of my proudest accomplishments occurred when my art work was featured in both The Queens Chronicle and the Leader/Observer local Queens newspapers. I am determined and iron willed to anything I set my mind towards and I always make sure to bring out nothing but the absolute best for my future clients. Besides my family and friends, music and nature’s beauty inspire me to create art. I am on an artistic mission that is instinctual. I will continue to pursue this mission and bring a little cheer and sunshine to each corner of the world that my paintbrush touches.
