ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this exploration of materiality, color, and surface, I have been making paint out of celadon clay to further delve into the interplay between ceramic and painting. This unconventional approach allows me to not only honor the legacy of Korean Celadon but also push the boundaries of painting itself. Through this symbiotic relationship between the materials and techniques, I invite audiences to appreciate the inherent connections between traditional craft and contemporary art.
