Né un 1er janvier 1973, Patrick ANDRUET passe son enfance et adolescence à Marseille. Après des études de styliste modéliste et l'obtention d'un diplôme d'Architecte DPLG, il décide de se consacrer pleinement à son art ; entre Paris et Marseille, il partage son travail et sa vie. Présent sur la scène artistique dès 1990, il est l'initiateur de LA DECOMPOSITION CONSTRUITE, tel qu'il l'a baptisé lui-même. Il a réellement apporté à l'aube des années 2000 une nouvelle expression figurative. 2011 marque un retour à ses origines, dans un nouvel atelier au cœur de la cité phocéenne. Traitement des lumières et travail sur le reflet Patrick ANDRUET manipule les images de la vie quotidienne. Cultivant un style inspiré de la bande dessinée et du graff, il crée une œuvre où les images se décomposent en formes effilées, tantôt violentes et sensuelles Ces toiles sont faites de libertés, elles parlent de la société. Elles s'inspirent du jazz dont l'artiste est amateur et des nouvelles urbanités au travers de ses propres carnets de voyage.
