Remy Francis is based in the city of Dubai, travelling to different parts of the world with her artistic endeavours. She started out in the Fine Artists Arena 20 years ago. Traditional painting, portraiture, sketching, animating has been her full-time occupation developed by her self-made and collaborative efforts to build a creative community in which she too could identify with. These are the days she has finally found solace in finding her everyday absolution in the art as her common denominator. As a realist painter, her specialities include classic portraiture and equine art with oils, watercolour, charcoals, pastels, digital art. Her abstracts are still evolving slowly born out of her hyper-realistic style for the past 2 decades. Bernini, Bellini, Rembrandt, Monet, Michael Angelo have been her inspirations and their styles well-researched by her have greatly helped her derive her own style organically. Most of her pieces have a story to tell, connected to her life like a journal.
