Medium: Digital Painting, Limited Edition Art Print, Hahnemühle German Etching, Mounted in black This artwork is to pay a special tribute to Yohji Yamamoto - He is a legendary & inspirational Japanese fashion designer , Considered a master of tailoring in black . Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy but mysterious. But above all black says this; "I don't bother you , don't bother me"

ALEVTINA CARAVONA is a Contemporary London based artist. Having grown up in Ukraine and Russia, Alevtina moved to the UK at a young age to follow an illustrious career as a fashion model and stylist. She trained at the University of Marangoni with a degree in Arts and Fashion Styling with a focus on graphic design and art history. She then studied painting at Heatherley’s School of Fine Arts, in Chelsea, London. Alevtina's work is heavily influenced by the Old Masters style, starting with pencil and charcoal sketches resulting in fine and detailed paintings, in the Renaissance style, but with contemporary subject matter and Pop culture influences and subjects. Alevtina also does digital artworks and limited edition fine art prints which have the same finish as her paintings in real life. In her oil paintings, she uses the traditional way of Old masters techniques such as dramatic ‘chiaroscuro’ and underpainting. Her elaborate finished paintings often incorporate many layers and mixed media techniques including the use of crystals, gems, diamond dust, gold, silver leaf and neon. The end result is a beautiful mash up of Religious Iconography, Renaissance style painting and Pop culture. Alevtina believes that, “Art feels like an infinite field of possibilities, in which I would like to project to others around the world” If you have any enquires about her artworks, pricing, commissions, exhibitions etc. Please don’t hesitate to DM on instagram or contact her via email:
