"in reverence of her changing shapes" Artwork

The Story: I tended to this painting over a period of 6 months, adding paint and embroidery little by little. During that time, I witnessed both her and I change shapes and the way we took up space in the world. Physically, emotionally, energetically – we transformed together, hand in hand – sometimes with openness, other times (and most often!) with resistance, but always with reverence. Who she is meant for: I believe every painting I create belongs to a specific Collector. She is meant for a Collector who deeply reveres the changing shapes of their own body, their story, the way they take up space.  She holds the energy of transformation, patience and self-trust – and she will bring this energy into the space where she lives.
