The first day, the world is still small, God has not created the four seasons, the world is a huge garden, I was the only gardener. When the first sun awoke me, I planted lilacs all over the earth, and at noontime God created my wife, and I crowned her with a purple wreath. In the evening my children are born, with purple blood among the lilacs. The next day God made the seasons, and my garden fell apart, and lilacs fell apart like my lost children. But I don't lose it. I even have it all -- in a land divided by the sea, my children have their children, and every windy spring night the lilacs return with their purple soul.
